The 2024 edition of the Ram 3500 offers consumers extensive customization options. Regular cab, crew cab, and mega cab options, paired with either a 6'4" or 8'0" box, are all available to choose from. The standard 6.4L V8 engine, which is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, generates 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque, but two additional 6.7L diesel options are available with a six-speed automatic transmission: one has an output of 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque, and the other reaches an astonishing 400 horsepower and 1,075 pound-feet of torque. This second diesel engine has a maximum towing capacity of 37,000 pounds, which few other consumer trucks can match. Some trims are limited to an all-wheel drive system, but most have the option for rear-wheel drive as well.
A galvanized steel and aluminum body, high-strength black grille and bumpers provide additional durability and grit. Halogen headlights and daytime running lights come standard, but additional options include a RamBox cargo management system, 115-volt bed outlet and lighting, power side running boards, and a Mopar sport performance hood. The maximum payload capacity is over 7,600 pounds, depending on the bed size. The interior cabin has additional storage bins, air filters, and comfortable vinyl seating.
The choice of either an 8.4-inch or 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system is embedded in the center console. The optional upgraded Uconnect 5 NAV system offers a fully customizable home screen and up to five user profiles with navigation, subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspots, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration built-in. A four-speaker audio system, 12-volt power outlets, and USB ports are standard, but a premium 17-speaker Harman Kardon audio system costs extra. Advanced driver-assistance features such as a forward collision warning, lane departure warning, front and rear park assist, and adaptive cruise control are all optional purchases.

The Tradesman is an affordable entry-level trim with everything you need to tackle big projects and jobs.
The Big Horn trim adds remote keyless entry, telescopic trailer tow mirrors, six-speaker audio system, heated side mirrors, and 18-inch polished cast aluminum wheels. Chrome bumpers and a chrome front grille surround with black inserts are also standard.
The Laramie adds heated 10-way power-adjustable front seats, front and rear park assist, a 10-speaker audio system, and luxurious leather-trimmed upholstery with suede inserts.
For a more premium experience, the Limited is the right choice. It adds a larger 12-inch driver digital instrument cluster, auto-dimming rearview mirror, chrome billet grille, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and full leather seats with real wood and aluminum accents. Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and blind spot monitoring with rear cross path and trailer detection are all standard. Full LED headlights, daytime running lights, and front fog lights enhance visibility during any time of the day.
The Limited Longhorn has an authentic southwestern style with real barnwood accents and flat chrome side steps. An optional two-tone exterior paint scheme is also available.
