Three engines are available for the new Ram 1500: a high-output 3.0L Hurricane engine that delivers 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft., a 3.0L Hurricane engine that produces 420 horsepower and 469 lb.-ft of torque, and a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with eTorque that yields 305 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. of torque. With the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, the 2025 1500 allows you to haul 2,370 lbs. The 3.0L Hurricane engine gives the new Ram 1500 a maximum towing capacity of 11,550 lbs.
The truck has a Selec-Speed Control technology that maintains a constant speed as you drive down rough slopes in Schulenburg. This feature applies brake pressure and engine torque so that you can concentrate on steering the truck.
